The NRC Health 2023 Pediatric Collaborative is truly a can’t-miss experience, with exceptional presentations that will stir innovative ideas for attendees to bring back to their larger PX and marketing teams. The collaborative’s theme this year, “Understanding On-deck,” will bring high-performing organizations together to connect directly with their “home team” of pediatrics and collaborate with and learn from peers in an intimate and intentional setting.

The event is set for March 28–29, 2023, at Phoenix Children’s in Phoenix, Arizona.

This year’s lineup includes a host of great presentations. Here, Tim “Mr. Meaningful Work” Olaore shares a sneak peek of his presentation, “Ignite & Never Lose your I.M.P.A.C.T.,” in a quick Q&A.

Olaore says that in the course of a career of serving and caring for others, pediatric professionals can be deeply fulfilled—and extremely challenged. Pediatrics requires endless effort and motivation from its doctors to be the best possible patient advocates and to connect meaningfully with parents while keeping continuing education a top priority.

“It’s common to feel that your efforts are not consistently being acknowledged, understood, or appreciated,” Olaore says. “Over time, increasing case acuity and ever-changing regulations and requirements can lead to burnout. I want to help people apply a new lens to recognize daily opportunities to activate their unique strengths.”

Acknowledging the old saying, “It takes a village to raise a child,” Olaore says that the NRC Health 2023 Pediatric Collaborative event will be similar to members of various villages coming together to ensure that children are given every possible health advantage.

In his session, Olaore will help you reignite your motivation, combat burnout, and find your own unique I.M.P.A.C.T., using a framework to create an internal source of motivation to fuel your ongoing journey of meaningful work.

“I hope that attendees leave with a strong sense of how to activate their internal reservoir of motivation when they feel extinguished by the demands and complexities of their role,” he says. “And I am most excited to see what kind of solutions healthcare leaders come up with to address the needs of this incredibly important patient population.”
