Trent Green serves as Chief Executive Officer for NRC Health. He brings more than 25 years of healthcare leadership experience, most recently serving as CEO of One Medical, and previously as Chief Operating Officer at Legacy Health. His expertise in care delivery, digital transformation, and strategic business execution uniquely positions him to lead NRC Health in expanding its capabilities and strengthening its market presence. Recognized as a visionary leader in the industry, Trent was named to the inaugural list of TIME100 Most Influential People in Health.

Trent finds balance outside of work through his love for cooking and outdoor adventures, including skiing, golfing, and backpacking. His most treasured moments are those spent with his wife, two amazing daughters, and their lively Beagle, Bogie.

CHIEF EXPERIENCE OFFICER

Jennifer Baron is NRC Health’s first Chief Experience Officer. In her 30+ years in the healthcare industry, she has developed a passion for working to improve access and design experiences for patients, families, and clinicians. Her previous healthcare leadership roles include Chief Experience Officer at UC Davis Health and Executive Director, Experience Design at Indiana University Health. Jennifer holds a degree in communications from Ball State University and is a Certified Patient Experience Professional. Jennifer loves books, movies, and music of most genres. She enjoys spending time hiking, doing yoga, and exploring unfamiliar places with family and friends. She lives in California with her husband, sons, and two feline fur babies.

CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

During her tenure, Helen Hrdy has helped hundreds of healthcare organizations better know each person they serve through the power of Human Understanding. She has developed and led multidisciplinary teams with a primary focus on partner relationships. In her expanded role from Chief Growth Officer to Chief Operating Officer, Helen brings a passion for supporting NRC Health’s customer strategy, delivery and thought leadership teams, to help them embody service excellence and a partner-centric mindset. Helen lives in Lincoln with her husband, Paul, and spoiled cat, Precious. She loves traveling, walking, cooking and entertaining friends and family in her home.

Andy Monnich

CHIEF CORPORATE DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

Andy Monnich serves as Chief Corporate Development Officer for NRC Health. Before joining NRC Health, Andy served as Chief Strategy Officer at Practicing Excellence. Over the past 20 years, Andy has worked in product and corporate development roles across the healthcare, financial services, and education industries. During his career, he has held consulting and leadership positions at Practicing Excellence, NRC Health, Connect, AEGON, and The Gallup Organization. Andy lives in Lincoln, NE with his wife Melissa, and two sons, Michael, and Matthew. Andy enjoys cooking, traveling, mountain biking, and going on family backpacking trips.

Shane Harrison

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Shane Harrison serves at NRC Health’s Chief Financial Officer.

As a seasoned finance leader with more than 25 years of experience spanning corporate finance, investor relations, and strategic transactions, he most recently served as Senior Vice President of Finance and Investor Relations at PowerSchool, a leading K-12 education SaaS provider. Shane holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Oregon and an MBA from UCLA’s Anderson School of Management.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Shane is a proven leader and mentor who is passionate about building high-performing teams and turning financial insights into strategies that fuel growth and innovation.
Shane lives in Portland with his wife Patti, their daughter Paige, and two dogs. Outside of work, he enjoys home projects, golf, and traveling.

EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT

Jason Rau serves as Executive Vice President for NRC Health. He brings more than 30 years of healthcare technology leadership experience across sales, marketing, and operations, with a strong track record of driving strategic growth and operational performance. Jason has led data-driven go-to-market strategies that doubled revenue, expanded market presence, and increased deal size and profitability, positioning him to help advance NRC Health’s mission of bringing human understanding to healthcare. Earlier in his career, he contributed to healthcare quality and performance improvement initiatives in collaboration with The Joint Commission, reflecting his long-standing commitment to improving the patient experience.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, especially his new granddaughter, and can often be found boating or on the golf course.

David Burik

David Burik

EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT, STRATEGIC INSIGHTS

David Burik serves as NRC Health’s Executive Vice President, Strategic Insights.

He comes to NRC Health with over forty years of consulting experience in the health care industry.

He enjoyed parallel management opportunities where he not only consulted but had P&L responsibility for the practice. His specialty can be summarized as “fork in the road” situations, as he has consistently worked with Boards to address the big issues that effective Boards consider.

Outside of work, David and his wife enjoy their four adult children and fueling their collective interests and curiosities. He is most relaxed when coaxing production from his vegetable patch.

“It has always been motivating and challenging to make healthcare better. NRC Health is a great platform from which to have a positive impact upon the health experiences that every individual and caregiver has. CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD

Mike Hays serves as Chairman of the Board for NRC Health. He founded NRC Health (National Research Corporation) in 1981. In his four-decades as CEO, Mike led the charge to personalize healthcare, and support organizations in their understanding of each unique individual they serve. Mike and his wife Karen both grew up in Lincoln, Nebraska. They have a wonderful daughter, Ashley, and three amazing grandchildren. Their most recent family addition is a puppy named Coco. Mike enjoys travel, art, cars, and IndyCar racing – solely as a spectator!
