Thanksgiving: A time to be grateful
Thanksgiving is a season of reflection on the blessings we have in our lives, no matter how the preceding year has gone—and this Thanksgiving, as much as any other, it is important to be thankful for our family and friends, for our health, and for those who are tirelessly working to keep everyone safe and healthy.
2020 has certainly been an exhausting year for everyone, stretching us far beyond what we ever thought possible. But you, our healthcare partners, have been amazing throughout it all. And so, to all of you who have served on the frontlines of our country to help the sick and struggling, thank you! Your dedication is inspiring to us all.
This Thanksgiving season will likely look a little different for most of us, so we wanted to provide some ideas to help you safely celebrate the holiday and enjoy a much-deserved moment of reflection and rejuvenation:
- Consider gathering remotely
- Follow coronavirus safety precautions
- Keep gatherings small
- Avoid serving food buffet-style
- Celebrate outside, weather permitting
- Avoid in-person shopping by looking for Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals online
Lastly, please take a moment to extend your gratitude to everyone you’re thankful for, and let them know just how important they are to you. A few words of thanks can go a long way in lifting everyone’s spirits.
Working with amazing partners like you is a pleasure, and we are continually inspired by your dedication to creating the best care experiences for all you serve. From all of your friends here at NRC Health, we wish you a safe celebration and the happiest of Thanksgivings!
