NRC Health, a leading provider of Human Understanding and data-driven insights, is pleased to announce the recipient of the 2023 Excellence in Patient Experience Award in a new category for critical access facilities.

Grundy County Memorial Hospital has received NRC Health’s first-ever recognition in the Critical Access Hospitals category, which acknowledges the important role critical access facilities play in supporting patients and communities in rural areas where access to services is essential.

The Excellence in Patient Experience Awards are based on NPS scores from a direct to patient survey surrounding the question of whether a patient is willing to recommend a healthcare organization to others in their community. Grundy’s received the highest marks during the time period of April 1, 2022–March 31, 2023, out of 61 eligible facilities.

Elevating the patient experience remains a priority in healthcare, and NRC Health’s 2023 Excellence in Patient Experience Award winners have demonstrated outstanding commitment to individualized and human-centered care. These organizations go above and beyond to ensure quality and equitable access to care is provided.
