NRC Health’s loyalty-based hospital ranking recognizes the top 100 healthcare facilities, including the top 12 Best in Class winners. These organizations have exemplified the commitment and initiative necessary to cultivate and maintain long-lasting loyalty among their patient populations and the communities they serve. This year’s Excellence in Patient Experience honorees have been recognized for their efforts to consistently deliver outstanding patient experiences across the care continuum.

NRC Health’s loyalty-based hospital ranking acknowledges the top 100 healthcare facilities that have exemplified the effort, commitment, and initiative necessary to address and solve healthcare’s biggest challenges by inspiring long-lasting loyalty among their patient populations.

Shifts in care delivery, greater focus on social determinants of health, and consumers’ growing desire for more personalized and specialized care have inspired hospitals and health systems into action.
The healthcare organizations recognized this year have shown admirable dedication to consumer-centric improvements and innovations that transform the patient experience for the better.
The Consumer Loyalty Award winners are exceptional figures that stand out amongst the great pressures that persist within the healthcare system.
This year’s top 12 Best in Class winners include both repeats and newcomers, including University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Mayo Clinic, UC Davis Health, RUSH University System for Health, Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospital, University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Morton Plant Hospital, The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Massachusetts General Hospital, and New York-Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center.
The 100 top-performing hospitals are identified by NRC Health’s Market Insights survey, the largest consumer perceptions survey in the nation, measuring more than 300,000 consumer opinions nationwide.

Excellence in Patient Experience Award winners
Elevating the patient experience remains top of mind for hospitals and health systems in 2024, and NRC Health’s 2024 Excellence in Patient Experience Award winners have remained true to their commitment to individualized and patient-centric care.
These organizations from across the nation go above and beyond for their patients, ensuring a care delivery experience tailored to them, but uniform in the compassion that is given to each person.
This year’s winners include repeats such as Parkview Health, Mercy, and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Cardiology, as well as some newcomers, including HealthPartners – Park Nicollet Methodist Hospital, UCHealth Yampa Valley Medical Center, and Children’s Hospital of Alabama.
The Excellence in Patient Experience Award winners are selected based on their Net Promoter Score (NPS), specifically the question of whether a patient is willing to recommend a particular healthcare organization to others in the community.
